Being records of the Incorporation of Weavers. "The Records of the Incorporation have had a varied fate, some of the earliest having survived while the history of the middle age of the craft is a complete blank. It has always been believed that the Incorporation owes it existence to a gift or seal of cause by the Town Council of Glasgow in 1528"
This CD includes the origins and history of the Incorporation of Weavers, as well as records of the constitution, apprenticeship and freemanship, trade privileges, meetings, discipline, money matters, legislation and litigation, and relationships with Gorbals, Bridgend, Calton, and Blackfaulds weavers.
There is also a section on properties held by the Incorporation, burials and mortcloths, and lists of deacons, clerks, and weavers. (Published in 1908)
