The earliest record books of the Pyramid Hill and Mitiamo cemeteries were lost in fires, so these records are not complete, Durham Ox recorders books have been hard to follow. Some dates given by early-unmarked grave names are for the date the grave site was paid for and may not necessarily be the date of death.

This book has been produced by David Gilbert who painstakingly taken the photos in a dignified manner, and is now a Volunteer with Heritage Care, Margaret Williamson who has spent many hours on the computer, watching the death notices in papers and recording them.
