Do you have a 'lost' family member or two! You will find here both criminals and victims of crime as well as others who just happened to be associated with a person or incident described. Perhaps you have policeman in the family. His appointment, promotion, transfer or resignation may be recorded, as well as incidents in which he was involved. You can find the physical details of persons missing, wanted or released, which helps to paint a picture of them - name, aliases used, age, height, colour hair, colour eyes, distinguishing features, even colour clothing worn. Perhaps also country of origin and other general notes.

This CD contains all issues for 1879-80. It contains information on house break-ins, robberies, arson, murders, lost horses and cattle, inquest verdicts, escaped prisoners and reports on those released. Also included are court lists, lists of warrants issued, lists of arrests, escaped prisoners, and missing persons, house break-ins, men deserting wives and families as well as deserters from service, missing friends and more. Notices from Police Gazettes from other states are also often included.
