This compendium includes all available issues for the period 1947-1956. It contains high quality scanned images of the original newspapers (an incomplete set), and has been bookmarked for easy navigation. Pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.

SUDDEN resignation of Mr. Harry Pringle, ABC Federal variety chief, may be a major move in the coming battle of Australian television. It is rumored that Mr. Pringle, a pioneer BBC television producer, will later join a commercial broadcasting network's expected television set-up.
