"Meyer's Official Post Office Directory of Queensland 1868" is divided into three sections; a Towns Directory, an Alphabetical Directory and a Government Directory.
These contain the names, residences and occupations of people living in the colony of Queensland in 1868. These sections enable the enquirer to look through the directory by either town or names. The directory also contains an advertisement section containing information on different companies throughout the colony at this time.
The whole 250 page directory, including most text in the ads, is searchable, useful not only for finding names, but also places occupations and other information for family and local historians.
System Requirements: Any computer using Adobe (Acrobat) Reader 4 or later, Adobe Reader 6 or later is recommended for CDs with searchable text
