Entries are listed in alphabetical order of family name/surname. The majority of the entries have been checked against the summaries of official Victorian Birth, Death & Marriage records available in 2002.

Generally, this publication has not included full entries of the children of pioneers and settlers who died at an early age, or for whom there were only limited details provided. However, in a few cases, some of the children who died in unusual circumstances (such as an epidemic) have been given a full entry.

These volumes are an extensive resource for those who settled in the district and beyond.
