Jungle Warfare is the fourth book in the series on the Australian Armyduring World War II. It tells the story of the events in the jungle, mountains and swamps of New Guinea. Again the stories were penned bythose actively serving bringing the individual's perspective on thewar. Their ingenuity in getting the material off the battlefield wascommented on by the editors - "One sketch arrived in a length of tiredbamboo; another in a metal ammunition cylinder, produced in Japan for asomewhat different purpose". Again, by necessity, authors areacknowledged only by their army number.
