The Jubilee History of Queensland is a very detailed book containing a range of information both about Australia as a whole and the Colony of Queensland. It details the discovery and the very early explorations of Australia and describes the continent including an in depth description of the flora and fauna. There are illustrations throughout the book.

It also describes the first governors who came to Australia to handle its affairs. There is information about the colonial governments, and descriptions of a range of districts such as the Cook and Darling Downs districts.
