It has several separate sections of directories, general information and calanders. This book is unique in that it also contains a squatters directory, making it extremely useful to those interested in squatters in the region. It also includes a travel guide.

There is also a significant section devoted to general information on different areas including Ararat, Beafort, Belfast, Casterton, Colac, Coleraine, Digby, Geelong, Hamilton, Meredith, Portland, Skipton, Stawell, Steiglitz and Warrnambool. Lastly the book contains a calendar, almanac and information on eclipses, gardening, moons and much more. The whole 212 page directory, including most test in the ads, is searchable, useful not only for finding names, but also places occupations and other information for family and local historians.
