This club originated with a small group of men whose first dinner was held in 1895. In 1929 they published a list of resident physicians and surgeons working at the hospital. Some students are also mentioned from 1914.

The lists are divided in years and categories: surgeons; physicians; gynaecologists; dis. of women; clinical medicine etc. This information could be useful to those with medical ancestors in the Edinburgh area.
